organize events, either weddings or meetings. We’ll supply the materials
needed so you can concentrate on the important points and ideas without
city distractions.
Weddings
We realize that weddings are important
milestones in your life, and having it in a hacienda gives the event an
ambience and feeling that is hard to beat. Hacienda Sta. Maria Xalostoc
dates from the middle 16th century, although most of the buildings are
from the 18th and 19th century, built during the colonial glory of
Mexico. Obviously we are full of courtyards, almost the whole hacienda
is cobblestoned, and our usual day is sunny from morning to dusk, then
cool. We also will be happy to help you in the usual Mexican
festivities, celebrating baptisms, a 15th year birthday, communions, or
other birthdays.
The hacienda will supply the expertise you need to
plan and carry out these events, including preparing the program
(including international arrivals and transport from the Puebla or
Mexico City airports), preparing menus and the myriad of details
that these events require.
We put at your disposal our ‘packets’ which can be
adjusted to your needs. The basic components of a wedding are the civil
wedding (judge, legal documents), then the church wedding, the banquet,
along with (of course) music. We’ve found that it helps the couple to be
married and the family to arrange a ‘packet’ which takes into account
all of the ‘parts’, then discuss the details such as – for instance –
what the menu might include, the type of music and the budget for that,
etc. Instead of giving details, we offer the installations of the
hacienda (some of which can be seen on the web page), especially the
banquet hall (35 by 90 feet, with a 20 foot, Spanish tiled ceiling) and
the wedding suite (included at no charge), and look forward to a
preliminary visit of yours to discuss the details, which can be adapted
to any and all your wims and wishes. |
